In recent years, some Western psychotherapists seem to be eager to introduce Buddhistic meditation, Karma yoga and various spiritual disciplines into psychotherapy. The author, as an Asian psychotherapists, was enabled to pay his attention to his
own
cultural heritages particularly to "Son"(Ch'an, Zen) meditation which, so far as he understand, is the short cut to the enlightenment. He has been practicing "Son" meditation since 1970 and he attempted his subjective experiences into three
categories.
